Technical Support - MA Lighting (m/f/d)

You know our industry and the daily event routine? You are familiar with (MA) technology and are looking for new challenges? Then we should get to know each other.

 

These are your tasks:

  • You provide answers to product- and application-related questions

  • You communicate with users and our distributors around the world

  • You conduct product presentations and trainings

  • You support internal and external projects and events


That's you:

  • You have user experience in a live environment

  • You have the desire to expand and pass on your knowledge

  • You speak English and German


You are interested in one of these topics:

  • Ethernet networks, 3D visualization, scripting languages, Spanish, developing training content.

Regional Sales Manager (m/f/x) | MEA Region

What we need you to do:

  • You work closely with each assigned distributor to define a business growth plan across all product segments, geographic regions, and vertical markets
  • You ensure that the values of the MA brand is presented, and minimum requirements are met by each distributor in all business areas, including training, technical support, service, marketing, and sales
  • You collaborate with the Managing Director and the Directors of Business Development to establish and execute sales goals for the Middle East and Africa region
  • You meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • You regularly report on CRM: activities, actions, problems that arise and any significant developments for each country


Who you are:

  • You have at least 5 years of professional work experience in the entertainment industry, preferably lighting required
  • Most recently you have commercial experience in selling investment goods through international distribution with a proven track record in building lasting customer relationships
  • Previous Experience as a designer, operator, or system tech on productions is advantageous
  • You are highly organized and able to work independently
  • Your English skills are fluent, both written and spoken
  • Ideally, you are based in Dubai or are ready to move to Dubai
  • You have a high willingness to travel, at least 70 percent of your time

Shader Developer C++ (m/f/d)

MA Lighting, located in Würzburg/Wbb, develops, and produces computer-driven, networking lighting consoles and -rack units. Our equipment is used all over the world in large theaters (e. g. New York, Sydney, Zurich, London, Munich), TV-studios (e.g. ARD, ZDF), for lighting in architectural environments and for large events like concert touring and opening ceremonies. We set a standard in our industry.


The typical duties will be:

  • Further development and maintenance of graphics engines and shader programming
  • Development of new applications and features in a creative team environment

 

What qualifications and skills do we expect from you?

  • A degree in computer science or comparable education
  • Experience in working with C++
  • Experience in working with dedicated GPU languages
  • You enjoy working in a team and are communicative, but you can also work independently in a structured and solution-oriented way.
  • Good communication skills in English and/or German.

 

What would be a plus?

  • Experience in cross platform development
  • Experience working with more than one of the following languages: HLSL, GLSL, Metal or Vulkan
  • An affinity for event technology
