Important Information
The new date for Prolight + Sound presents us with significant challenges.
A large number of well-known exhibitors from the lighting and audio sector have already cancelled their participation in the show, greatly reducing its attractiveness as a marketplace for us as exhibitor and for our customers and partners.
We all hope that the worldwide spread of the coronavirus will decline as quickly as possible, however we have no guarantee that this will be in time for the new date of Prolight + Sound. It is unclear whether travel restrictions will have been lifted by then and therefore whether customers could plan to visit the show at all. This lack of planning security represents an unjustifiable risk for us.
For these reasons, we have today - after intensive consideration and consultation with our market participants - cancelled our participation in Prolight + Sound 2020.
We will, of course, present the news announced for Prolight + Sound in the usual professional manner.
